| Sheet | Size | Badges per sheet | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Avery® 5395 | 2⅓" × 3⅜" | 8 | Event and conference badges |
| Avery® 8395 | 2⅓" × 3⅜" | 8 | The same layout, sold under another code |
| Avery® 5163 | 2" × 4" | 10 | Larger badges with more text |
| Avery® 5160 | 1" × 2⅝" | 30 | Simple name stickers |
For 50 guests, print 7 sheets of Avery® 5395. Each sheet holds 8 badges, so you get 56 spaces, with a few spare for mistakes.
A clean list makes the badges easy to print. Use one row for each guest, and use the same column names in every row. These columns work well:
Check the spelling of every name before you paste the list. It takes a few minutes, and it saves a box of wrong badges. If you sort the list by table, the printed sheets will match the seating plan, and you can find a guest quickly.
People read a badge from a few steps away. The first name is the only thing they need to see, so make it the largest text. Put the last name in a medium size, and the company or role in a small size underneath. A badge with three clear lines is easier to read than one with five small ones.
If a name is long, make the text smaller for that badge only. Keep the rest of the sheet the same, so the badges look even when you hand them out.
Type a change in plain words, and the AI helper applies it to every badge:
