Terms of Use

The rules for using LabelPeel during the beta, in plain English.

Who we are

LabelPeel is run from Malta. You can reach us at [email protected].

These terms are an agreement between you and LabelPeel. By using LabelPeel you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't use LabelPeel. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

The beta

  • LabelPeel is free while it's in beta. No card is needed to sign up.
  • We won't start charging anyone without telling them first. You can then choose whether to pay. Paid plans may come later, and their prices will be shown in advance.
  • Free-plan limits may change. For example, the limit on AI requests is currently 100 a day, and the limit on saved projects is up to 300.
  • Features may change, be added or be removed. LabelPeel may sometimes be slow or unavailable.

Your account

  • You must be 16 or older.
  • Each account is for one person.
  • Keep your password safe.
  • Give us a real email address.
  • We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using LabelPeel at any time.

Your content

  • The lists, designs, pictures and other content you add stay yours.
  • You give us permission to store, process and display your content. We do this only to provide the service. That includes sending the parts described in our privacy policy to the AI and PDF services.
  • You are responsible for having the right to use the personal data in your lists. For example, you need the right to use your guests' addresses.
  • You are responsible for what you print.

Check your labels before you print

AI can make mistakes. Its design changes may not be what you asked for. Before you print, please:

  • check your labels on screen
  • print a test page on plain paper first
  • check that the sheet you chose matches the sheet you have

Printers differ. We can't promise perfect alignment on every printer. Our sheet measurements come from public templates and real sheets, but please check them against your own sheet.

We are not liable for wasted label sheets, ink or postage.

Using LabelPeel fairly

Please don't:

  • break the law
  • upload malware
  • attack or overload the service
  • scrape the service
  • try to get around its limits
  • resell the service
  • copy our code or design
  • use LabelPeel to make misleading or illegal labels. For example, don't make fake product labels, counterfeit goods, or labels that impersonate other people's brands.

Our responsibility

  • LabelPeel is a free beta. It is provided "as is", without any promise that it will always work or be error-free.
  • As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses.
  • Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of two amounts: what you paid us in the last 12 months, or €50. During the free beta, you have paid us nothing, so the limit is €50.
  • Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit. Your rights as a consumer stay in place.

Trademarks

Avery® is a registered trademark of Avery Products Corporation. SheetLabels.com, OnlineLabels.com and HERMA are trademarks of their owners. LabelPeel is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them. We use sheet codes only to say which sheet a template fits.

Ending

  • You can stop using LabelPeel at any time. To have your account deleted, email [email protected].
  • We may close accounts that break these terms.
  • We may end the beta. We will try to tell you before any big change, so you have time to save your labels.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we will also email you. If you keep using LabelPeel after a change, the new terms apply.

The law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. The courts of Malta can settle any dispute.

If you are a consumer, you keep the rights that your own country's laws give you. You can also bring a claim in the courts of your own country.
