Free online label maker

LabelPeel is a free label maker that runs in your web browser. Paste your list, pick a sheet, and every row becomes a label ready to print.

Free while in beta · no card needed

How it works

  1. Paste or upload your list. Copy rows from Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers, and include the heading row, such as Name, Address and Room. You can also upload a file.
  2. Pick your sheet. Choose the label sheet you have, such as Avery® 5160. LabelPeel guesses which columns go on the label, and you can change them from a tick list.
  3. Print a test page first. Print on plain paper and hold it over a label sheet to check the lines. Then print on your labels at 100% or Actual size.

Make labels

Pick the right sheet

A label maker is only as good as the sheet it prints on. Choose the product number on your box, and LabelPeel will lay out every label to match it. Here are a few common choices:

SheetSizeLabels per sheetGood for
Avery® 51601" × 2⅝"30Address labels, name stickers
Avery® 51611" × 4"20Longer addresses
Avery® 51632" × 4"10Shipping and mailing labels
Avery® L7160 (A4)63.5 × 38.1 mm21Address labels on A4 paper

Each sheet has its own page with its measurements, and every sheet has free Word and PDF templates. You can see them all on the label sheets page. If you are not sure which size to pick, read the Avery label sizes guide.

Made for lists

Use a label maker when you have many labels that differ by row. A class list, a club roster, a guest list or a stock list all work the same way. Each row in your list becomes one label, with the same layout and different text.

You do not need to set up a template for each label. Paste the list once, check which columns go on the label, and change the look for all of them at the same time. If one row is wrong, fix it in your list and paste again, or click the label and type a change for just that one.

Ideas you can type

The AI helper changes every label at once, so you can describe what you want in plain words. Try:

  • "Make the labels where Room is A orange"
  • "Names starting with Mrs pink"
  • "Sort by ZIP"
  • "Put the first name on its own line in big letters"
  • "Make a QR code from the Website column"
  • "Move the logo to the right and make it smaller" (after you add your logo in the Design step)

If you want a full walkthrough for a spreadsheet or a word processor, see how to print labels from Excel or how to print labels in Word.

Tips

  • Keep the heading row in your list. LabelPeel uses it to name each column.
  • Remove blank rows before you paste. Every row becomes a label, so an empty row makes an empty label.
  • Print at 100% or Actual size, and turn off Fit to page.
  • Have a half-used sheet? Use "start at label N" to skip the labels already printed.
  • Save as PDF from the print window if you want a file to keep or send to a print shop.
