Free shipping label template

Print shipping, address and return labels from your order list on Avery® shipping sheets. LabelPeel prints the labels. Your carrier still sells the postage.

How it works

  1. Paste your order list. Copy the rows from Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers, with the heading row, such as Name, Street, City, State, ZIP and Order. Each row becomes one label.
  2. Pick a shipping sheet. Choose Avery® 5163 for 2-inch by 4-inch labels, or pick another size from the table below.
  3. Print a test page. Print on plain paper and hold it over a label sheet. Then print on your labels at 100% or Actual size.

Shipping label sheets

Choose the sheet that fits your box and your label content. A bigger label leaves room for a return address or a note:

What LabelPeel does and does not do

LabelPeel is a label printer for your list. It does the following:

  • Prints the address, return and box labels for each row.
  • Adds a barcode or QR code from a column, if you need one.

It does not do the following:

  • Buy postage.
  • Make USPS, UPS or FedEx carrier labels.

For those, use your carrier. Then use LabelPeel for the labels you print yourself. For address sheets, see how to print address labels.

Common problems

  • Labels do not line up. Print at 100% or Actual size, turn off Fit to page, and check that you chose the same sheet size on your box.
  • Some labels are blank. Those rows are empty in your list. Remove them and paste the list again.
  • Wrong order on the sheet. Sort the list before you paste it, such as by ZIP, and check the first few labels on a test page.
  • Text is cut off on a box label. Shorten the text in your list, or use a bigger sheet, such as 5164 or 5168.

Ideas you can type

The AI helper changes every label at once. Try asking for:

  • "Make the labels for Express orders red"
  • "Sort by ZIP"
  • "Put the order number in big bold letters at the top"
  • "Make the return address small and gray"
  • "Put the logo at the top and make it smaller" (after you add your logo in the Design step)

Tips

  • Put one order on each row, so each label matches one parcel.
  • Check the ZIP column before you print. A wrong ZIP is the most common shipping problem.
  • Print at 100% or Actual size, and turn off Fit to page.
  • Print a test page on plain paper before you use a full sheet.
  • Have a half-used sheet? Use "start at label N" to skip the labels already printed.

Free Word and PDF templates for every sheet are on the label sheets page, if you want to set up a sheet by hand.

Can LabelPeel buy postage for my shipping labels?

No. LabelPeel does not buy postage. It prints the address, return and box labels from your list. Buy postage from your carrier or a postage service.

Can LabelPeel make USPS, UPS or FedEx labels?

No. It does not make carrier labels. Use the carrier's own site or counter for those, and use LabelPeel for the labels you print yourself.

Which shipping sheet should I use?
